CROATIAN CHAMBER PHILHARMONIC - Zagreb

The orchestra Croatian Chamber Philharmonic (HKF) was founded in 2006 as part of the Croatian Philharmonic Association, whose goal is the creation of a recognized body of national musical-cultural identity, the promotion of Croatian musical heritage, and the development and recognition of musical performance in Croatia and abroad. The association’s activities open opportunities for younger generations of musicians, especially to fresh graduates from music academies.

The section leaders of the HKF are members of the ensemble Quodlibet (founded in 1990) which has appeared in Croatia, Germany, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and on the major humanitarian concert Nachbar in Not (Neighbor in Need) for ORF-Wien live in 1993.

The Croatian Chamber Philharmonic performed at the opening of the Multimedia Center in Rovinj (2006) and at the gala concert of the opening of newly rebuilt Krapina Festival Hall
(2007). They performed Christmas Concert in Stefaniensaal, Graz (Austria- December 2007) and in Vienna (November 2010) with great success and a critics alike.

Orchestra took place at Croatian Festivals-Osor Musical Evenings (Osor), Musical Evenings in St. Donat (Zadar) and The Days of Miroslav Miletic (Sisak). They have

worked with prominent conductors as Pavle Dešpalj, Tomislav Fačini, Luka Vukšić, Marija Ramljak and Roumanien conductor Florin Totan.

QUODLIBET ENSEMBLE


Quodlibet Ensemble was founded by prof. Andrija Potroško, perennial and double bass soloist of the Symphony Orchestra and the Zagreb Soloists ensemble.Members of the ensemble in the establishment were the violinists Maria Modrušan and Neven Manzoni, artists Zagreb school violin and viola Francesco Bozzo, who studied in Cosenza and later studied in Rome and cellist Jonathan Zalusky, a graduate of the Vienna Conservatory. His first public performance ensemble had a ninth February 1992 in the Franciscan church in Zagreb, in favor of the foundation of Cardinal Aloysius Stepinac to rebuild war-ruined church buildings in the war in Croatia. Quodlibet ensemble have been touring in Croatia, Austria, Germany, Italy and Slovenia. 26th May 1993. performed at a charity concert, "Nachbar in Not" in Vienna, with direct transmission of radio network ORF, RAI 2, NDR, and 24 Swiss radio and inspiring speech of gratitude at the same concert, the organizers turned to the Holy Father, Pope John Paul II. In the next ten years the ensemble has performed throughout the Croatian and in Graz, Munich and Ljubljana. At the end of 1988th recorded in the edition of the Croatian Catholic Radio, produced by publishing Croatia Records CD "Jewels of Sacred Music" in collaboration with the ensemble "The Croatian sacred trio" regarding the second coming of the Holy.Pope John Paul II to Croatia. Numerous soloists performed as guests of the ensemble Quodlibet: organists Mario Penzar, Jasna Šumak Picek, Dada Ruža and Gorana Vidnjevič, Denis Konir trumpeter, singer Armando Puklavec, Aida Vidovic Krilanović, Kristina Beck Kukavčić, Klasja Modrušan ... 
After the first set Quodlibet, place the first and second violins in the ensemble is replaced by the younger generation of string players. Ensemble members are now leaders of shares Croatian Chamber Orchestra filharmonija. Except classical string quartet set or quintet with piano, Quodlibet is as the name of the ensemble talks open to cooperation programs with the wind instruments, singers and percussionists application needs.
